Working with you as a Maternity Nurse, generally starting with families from when they return from hospital. This is usually for a period of 5-6 days a week for the first 4 weeks - 6 months, working 20 hours a day.

I will pass on as much knowledge and as many `tips’ as I can to you and your partner. Leaving you with a manageable routine that lays the foundations for good feeding and sleeping patterns that will get your little one sleeping and feeding happily from the very beginning.

During the day I can help and advise on feeding patterns, whether you are breastfeeding, formula feeding or wanting to do a bit of both, I can help guide you through.

Along with the all important winding after feeds, showing different techniques so baby burps well and is happy and comfortable.

I will be generally responsible for all nursery duties relating to the baby. This includes babies laundry, keeping the nursery tidy and sterilising any feeding equipment.

Depending on how you decide to feed your baby, I can bring them to you during the night to breastfeed, then return with them to the Nursery to wind, nappy change and settle post feed, allowing you to go straight back to sleep. Alternatively, I can feed them expressed milk, or formula during the night, allowing you a full night of uninterrupted sleep.
