Night Nanny
£25 per hour
Providing Comprehensive Overnight Support to New Parents.
This is for you if you are looking for help and support overnight, but don’t necessarily want to have someone in your house full-time. Woking as a Night Nanny is more than just parents getting some sleep, although this is lovely and a pretty big reason! There is so much more than just feeding the baby when they wake.
Support consists of:-
Gentle guidance
Installing good nighttime habits
Safe sleep recommendations
Helping baby to master night is night and settle back quickly after feeds
Soothing and settling techniques
Guidance with healthy day/night routines and patterns
Recognising baby’s cues
Breastfeeding support
Formula feeding support
Milk storage advice
Nappy changes
Overall care of your baby
Washing and sterilisation of baby bottles, pumps, and equipment used overnight
Monitor baby to learn their individual ways and needs
Identification and troubleshooting of reflux, colic, allergies, tongue tie, etc, and who to go to for medical support if needed.
And so much more!
When I arrive in the evening, we will go through your day, what went well, if you have any questions about how the day has gone, and have a general catch up. Overnight if you are breastfeeding I will bring the baby to you to feed when needed, then take them back to the nursery to wind and settle. Or if you are expressing or formula feeding I will take care of your baby overnight, feeding, changing, and settling so you can have uninterrupted sleep.
I generally come in from about 7-9 pm - 7-9 am depending on your family’s needs. Throughout the night, I'll keep a written diary of your baby's feedings, nappy changes, and overall well-being. In the morning, I'll provide a full handover of this information. Along with ensuring, all bottles, pumping equipment used throughout the night are washed and sterilised, and ready to use.
Let me assist you in providing the best possible care for your little one during those crucial early months. With a night nanny, you can rest assured that your baby is in good hands and get the support you need to thrive as new parents.
