Postnatal support and advice
Hello and Congratulations on your pregnancy, or on the birth of your new baby.
Are you looking for some extra help and support?
Baby Days Baby Nights is here to help parents and families with their new baby. Having a new baby is a truly wonderful time, however it can bring a whole array of questions, queries and worries for new parents. There are many courses to help fully prepare families for the birth of their baby and first initial days, however there is very little support post-birth when you are home and on your own.
Baby Days Baby Nights is designed to offer help and support by offering different packages depending on your family's needs. For some families, a phone consultation for more information on routines, feeding or sleeping advice is all that is needed. For others, they may need a little more support through a day's personal 1-1 consultation. This is where you can have all your questions answered and be personally shown how to bathe, swaddle, feed, and burp amongst any other assistance you need with your baby. Or for full support of a Maternity Nurse, to come in and help around the clock for the first few weeks and months, so you can fully recover knowing you and your baby are in safe hands. A Maternity Nurse will give you valuable support with your baby, helping to ease you all into family life. This will give you the help and guidance with your baby to feel fully confident and recovered from pregnancy and birth. A Maternity Nurse can offer advice on routines, including feeding, sleeping and general baby care and development, leaving you fully confident and settled into life with your new baby.
Having a baby is truly a wonderful life changing event. You have waited so long to meet and hold your newborn, yet it can also be an overwhelming time with so many questions, queries and worries. There is so much conflicting advice, your loved ones will think one way, your post-natal group will give other advice, google even more confusion and then there are parent websites, and social media all saying different things. It can cause unnecessary anxiety and make you question yourself as a parent and worry you're doing it all wrong. Baby Days Baby Nights can help with those worries and concerns, offering you a bespoke service helping and supporting you how you need it. Whether it be a reassuring ear to listen to you and give you up-to-date research and theory behind the advice, practical ways to care for your baby, or both, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us to discuss further.
Baby Days Baby Nights understands that every family is different, we have different experiences, beliefs, and ways of doing things. We have different temperaments, so do your babies. What worked for your 1st baby may not now because you have a toddler running around or have a school run to incorporate into the baby’s routine. With that in mind, there is no one plan or one way of doing things. All advice and routines will be bespoke and personalised to you and your family for a truly individualised package of support.
